Details of any Re-shoots

When we were filming our five minute film, we often had to re shoot certain scenes because they did not flow continuously when we tried to edit them together.

Graveyard Scene:
Our first day shooting was at the graveyard for the graveyard scene. We had to re film some of the content such as when they were walking to the grave as it was unsteady at first and we wanted a perfect shot that didn't shake. We also needed more close ups of the two sisters faces to show how they were feeling about the situation and what they're reaction was. It also helped to pass time and help the continuity of the scene.

House Scene:

The title sequence shots were alright and did not need re-shooting however the ones in the actual film did when they was in the living room. When Lily was retrieving the letter from the draw, we first didn't get a close up of her face so when it came to editing, we were unable to get the perfect match from shot to shot so we had to re-film it with a close up. We also had to re-film the close up of the laptop showing them. Kendray Hospital as we didn't use a tripod at first and it was wobbly so we used a tripod the second time which made the shot steady. Moreover we needed more two shots of the sisters together on the sofa when reading the letter from different angles so the film didn't get tedious.

Mental Institute:

We had problems with the mental institute scenes as the room we were filming in was hard to get a hold of sometimes due to issues with the environment e.g. a water leak or it may have been occupied when we wanted to use it. We needed more close ups during the conversations to show every persons feelings and reactions to certain parts, it also helps the continuity of the film as it does not get as tedious then. We also had to get more shots from different angles of the room without breaking the 180 degree rule. The second conversation we had, we didn't have to re-shoot any parts as we had learnt from our previous mistakes so we knew exactly what shots to include.
