Development of film poster
Firstly, we created a first draft of our film poster, originally all the text was white to contrast with our monochrome background. We then realised that it looked too plain so we then added colour by including red in the credits and subheading. After that, we felt it still needed some extra colour so we added yellow/gold to the star ratings to stand out against the red and white. The yellow stars contrast with both the white and red text drawing attention to the star ratings.
We are very pleased with our final film poster and think the techniques we used with composure, contrast and colours were very effective in making the aesthetics of the poster look good.
